How much higher does your stats have to be to get accepted in a college with different majors?

I'm thinking of applying for Computer Engineering or industrial engineering in Penn State, Pitt, Temple and a few other colleges. How much harder will it be to get accepted with a major like this compared to the normal gpa/sat.
