Penn State accepted me last summer but I went elsewhere and I regret it...would I need to apply all over again?

I applied to transfer from my cc to penn state last summer and was accepted but I chose a different university. I now wish to attend penn state instead. Is there some sort of procedure for this or do I need to apply all over again? Im a little worried because my grades dropped a little bit this past year and I got a couple W's in the process. I think I had about a 3.4-3.5 at the cc when I applied to transfer last summer and this past school year at this other university I finished with a 3.125 but also landed a solid, major-related internship during that time which might help my cause. ALSO, its almost july...is it too late to apply for the fall term? I heard it was much harder to get accepted into the spring semester than the fall semester. Is this true?

I talked to my local recruiter and he said I needed 15 college credits. I have a Penn Foster Diploma High School. I am 17 and dropped out of college what can I do. I want to join the Army but it seems the only way I can is through college. I asked them if I could go back to my local High School and they said yes is this true. Also I told him I had asthma after 13, and I took my self off my medication at 14 or 15 and I didnt have any problems. He told me as long as I get cleared from the doctor I would be fine. What's wrong with my Sims 3 game?

After trying to mod my Sims 3 game, the game had horribly messed up. At first, it wouldn't let me play and said that my graphics card wasn't compatible with the game. I quit and re-entered again, and no graphics pop-up showed up, but my two save files were missing. I went out and deleted all the mods, by reversing the extracting effect and such. When I went back to my game, they were still gone. I looked further into the issue, and managed to come across the backup file, since I couldn't find it. (I have Windows 7 and I've had issues finding EVERYTHING on this computer.) Eventually, I found the backup file, and got the game files back via deleting the main file and replacing it with the backup. I started up the game again to see my files there, but my family wouldn't show up, but it had my two town names. The family that showed up was a dotted outline of a family, named Ramirez. This of course, is not any of my families. I realized that the file missing was the WHATEVERITWAS.sims3 file. So I entered that, and indeed my families returned. However, I noticed that the game colors are different and the graphics are kind of slow. The color palettes of my Sims clothing are pale and their movements are glitchy. Any way I can fix this? BTW, in Windows 7, there are 2 Electronic Arts folders, one in Documents and one in Program Files. In Program Files, I have the two town files saved, as well as the WHATEVERITWAS file, but my game didn't regenerate another backup file for either of the towns. Also, on the Documents Electronic Arts Saves folder, there are two files that show my town name with .legacy at the end? What should I do to fix my game? The colors are really going to bother me.

I grew up with constant bladder infections and would be brave and take my pills and go to the dr and do tests everytime. But as I got older I got sick of it, and having to go back in and be examined everytime. I read about IC with bladder pain and have thought maybe its something I might have. The last infection I had, I left untreated and I had it for maybe 3 weeks. You may say that was wrong, I basically cried all day on the bathroom floor chugging cranberry and azo. Now, everytime I am about to have my special lady time, I go pee and right after its like someone is punching down on my bladder and it's a horrible feeling exactly like a bladder infection. It goes away with an azo and some rest but then it will be back the next day probably. I also get a little more swollen in the stomach even when I am not pmsing which makes me think it could also be linked to IC. I'm not sure if this is related but years ago I went to penn state because I was having cysts on my ovaries and not just regular one or two but MANY. And theyd pop so my mother, at the time I was 13, took me there after being told they couldn't diagnose me with PCOS. I know it may have nothing to do with it but I worry that it may. The funny thing is, the IC diet says cranberries irritate the problem which makes all my lifes beliefs of chugging watered cranberry crap. God won't heal amputees because it is impossible. "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." noone in their right mind would pray and actually believe that their arm would grow back. there is no way to truly believe that it will grow back. 37 weeks along, pain in lower back and upper abdomen?

At my last doctors appointment (Tuesday) I was a "loose 1" and 65% effaced. My doctor said she would give me 2-3 weeks tops and then she said she thought I'd have a baby by then if not sooner. Last night, my back started hurting badly. And at 2:00 this morning I woke from a very deep sleep with sharp abdomen pains. The thing is, I'm almost positive it's NOT contractions. My tummy was tight when I was sitting up, but not rock hard and it relaxed when I laid down but any time I sat back up it would tighten, though again, not rock hard. Today I've been having abdominal cramps and constant back pain. I'm just trying to decide if I should call my dr.'s office (they will patch me through to the dr. on call since it's a holiday) or if I should wait until my appointment on Tuesday to call. Im 20 years old. For as long as I can remember, ive always wanted to move to california. I have two relatives that live out there that I see every year since i was a baby. I wanted to go to college there but during my senior year of high school, my mom pressured me to stay on the east coast. I wind up going to a branch campus of penn state. I did a year there, but I didnt know how to mange my time there and i wind up failing a few classes. Because of this, I lost my campus housing and I was forced to move back home. he following semester I went to community college to pretty much start over and pick my grades back up. However,at first I was gonna settle and go to school in state, but now ive been having these thoughts about moving to california and attending one of the state schools. I know if I were to tell my mom I wanted to go to california, she would try to halt my plans with negative thoughts and trying to guilt trip me into going. she never wanted to move to cali, but after I failed penn state, that just gives her something else to hold against me. I dont blame her, she lost out on 20,000 dollars because of my mistake at penn state. But i think for her she is just scared of loosing her baby. Im male by the way. I am due tomorrow with my first baby and hoping to get some help just on identifying what labor feels like. I was not dilated and only slightly thinning on Tuesday. My doctor scheduled me for a non stress test this Wednesday. She doesn't think that I am going to be having him in the next week based upon my cervix and everything. Basically this morning I was having these really painful stomach pains kinda like I gotta go to the bathroom really really bad but I don't. I talked to my mom and she said it sounds like contractions but they aren't consistent at all so she said it's probably false labor. A couple hours ago I had the same pain but this time it came and went and my stomach got really really hard then the pain kinda went through my back and pelvic as well but it only lasted a few minutes. I've been cramping all day though. So is this just practice contractions? Could my cervix be dilating while these happening meaning labor could be near? I am scheduled on the 12th if he hasn't come to be induced but I am hoping he comes on his own before then. Legal advice re teaching disciplinary.?

Large amount of mucous discharge?

First off I'm not an Admission's officer at all, so I wont sit here and pretend I am, I think that by taking All Honors and AP courses that you're showing you enjoy challenging work and that you can handle college work which of course colleges and universities love, also the fact that you're active in your community is a good thing. When you think in terms of applying to college don't think too much about how m any things you're doing but think about which of the things are you most dedicated and interested in. I once knew of a girl who was valedictorian of her class, had all these E.C.'s but wasn't truly invested in them and her college admissions essay reflected that, she didn't get in to many of the schools she wanted to because of that. Your SAT score is a tad weak for some of these schools except for Rutgers NB and Monmouth(( believe Penn State also) that I know of, but being an Honors and AP student you should do tons better your second time around with some hard work. Regardless of these schools SAT and GPA ranges you want to have the best possible GPA and SAT score especially if you want to be Pre-Med because it's very competitive. I think that overall you seem to be a well-rounded hard working student and it is important that you demonstrate this when applying to colleges. I apologize if this isn't helpful but the truth is no one can(or SHOULD--people will sit here and try anyways) to tell you that you can get into this school but not the other and definitely this one and not definitely not that one. All colleges look for different things in their students regardless of a few blunders they will admit a student that they find fits into the profile they are trying to build.

Why does my new battery keep dying with a good alternator?

My son is away at school so I know I need to start his car to keep the battery from dying. I start it and let it idle for 30 minutes a week. But after a few months the battery dies. Ive noticed just in your exodia deck your running some banned cards so i suggest getting replacements for those that are banned and narrow the exodia deck down to 40 cards because having too many cards means less chance of drawing the 5 peieces. How would my zombie deck do against a blackwing and a lightsworn deck?

One way to improve your deck would be cutting the deck count to below 42, this helps you draw more of the cards you need. Also to help get cards you need add monsters the search for other monsters. Add another goblin zombie, sangan, or mystic tomato. A spell that is cheap that lets you search your deck is gold sarcophagus, if you want to go all out you can buy 3 pot of duality. If I were you I would add more staple cards that are in every deck, i.e. 2 mystical space typhoons, giant trunade, etc. Look at the builds of other zombie decks on the internet to find other combos that you like.

Why do the wii controllers suck?

i sort of think the wii sucks. but now that i think about it, its not really the console i hate, its the crappy controllers that came with it. i mean the buttons are sometimes hard to use, its hard to move around, the sensor bar is sometimes way too sensative, and a few other things thats wrong with it. the thing about the sensor bar, if you make one false move, you're screwed. i know on the wii, it accepts gamecube games and the controllers for it. with that last sentence, heres what i dont get. why didn't nintendo keep the same concept for the controllers they had for the gamecube, and use it on the wii? then the controllers wouldn't be so hard to use, and i wouldn't be asking this question if that actually happened. i think this will be the last time i buy something from nintendo.

hmm, definately a tough call but i would toss my bet in with sabertooth, that accelerated healing is the most key and important difference between the two, with the healing factor, it is virtually impossible to kill sabertooth by conventional means. another thing is that though kraven has all those powers stated, sabertooth also has a good deal of similar powers as well (agility, reflexes... etc) so essentially he's the same as Kraven but with healing powers.

Okay the Medpack lets you heal others faster so they don't have to wait. The SMG does have lower hip spread but you aren't faster. The marking does not always work because it enemy could be to far away. The voice error is a bug. Bullets and grenades damage vehicles but it is pretty low on damage with the grenade doing a little more. You can get in a non squad vehicle just can't spawn in it. Hope this helps :D

No. As Pork Sword says, after three times, your score isn't likely to change much and you start looking desperate. Try the ACT instead if you're still not happy (and frankly, the verbal sections aren't Ivy-level, so you might want to give it some consideration).

When I was in music school I had to sing songs I didn't like all of the time. It can be done, but lacks heart. I have heard something along the lines of something that stops telomere DNA from becoming shorter and in effect stops the aging process. I have not done a lot of research into this topic but from what I understand the problem is that it causes cancer. Researchers believe that cancer cells are creating an enzyme called telomerase, which prevents telomere shortening. This is also why cancer cells can live forever. Aging however is not completely understood. Researchers also think that environment plays an important role in aging. I think that sometime within the next century we will have ways that greatly extend the life of humans, but I have no idea as to when, if ever, we will find a way for humans to live forever.

I joined the U.S Army a few years ago. And just recently got the rest of my enlistment bonus. What's cool is I already have my own place, have a nice car, and I'm pretty good financially. Both Gengar & Jellicent are ghost (Jellicent being ghost & water), so either get rid of Gengar or Starmie. I'd definitely stay with Gengar. These are all the fire type options you have (ONLY LOOKING AT BLACK/WHITE): Victini, Tepig (you can trade for it), Pansear (sucks lol), Darumaka (pretty good), Lampent, which later evolves to Chandelure is really good, Heatmor, Larvesta, Reshiram, & Arceus with a fire plate. Well Tennant left the show for Shakespeare and other plays. I highly doubt he'd return and so soon. Plus it would look really bizarre if they go from a 26 year old, back to a 45 year old. Since the Doctor's have gotten progressively younger. I doubt they will bring him back-but he was an extremely good actor and when I was 12 I was deeply in love with him. I would say MIT is probably the only one you cant get into on that list. The other schools, if they take into account your tougher grading scale, should be manageable. MIT is one of the few schools who wont care so much about your extra curriculars. Maybe if you stand out in your AP Physics and Calculus, you might have a shot. Also you might have a tougher time if you are a white male, but good luck!

I am formerly enlisted in the Marines and was honorably discharged in 2005. I immediately enrolled in college and graduated with a B.S. degree this year (May 2011). Between that time I sustained some legal convictions (1 assault w/ weapon) and in early 2010 (assault w/weapon, false imprisonment, & larceny). All of those convictions are misdemeanors. Cells regenerating slowly after 2nd chemo with Leukemia?

My husband (32 yrs old) has AML. He has normal karyotype, has NPM1 and FLT3-TKD mutations. Doctrs decided not to do Bone Marrow transplant unless he relapses in the future. After 1st chemo, cells regenerated very fast and tests were showing slightly NPM1 mutations and no FLT3-TKD ones. Now after the 2nd treatment, doctors said he will get to go home only for like 2 days (unlike last time which was 6 days) to start the next chemo and do next bone marrow test. His chemo ended like 19 days ago and today he had to receive blood transfusions. Is this a bad sign of the illness?

Im not to familiar with those models from Penn, but I personaly love peen reels for catfishing, a Penn 550ssg Spinnfisher Graphite should be more than enough for the biggest cats. Just make sure you use a quality pole and braided line. Also make sure your leader is not braded bc even the small cats will shread it once hooked. Braid color shouldnt matter if you cant see through the water, but you cant go wrong with green.
